Anti-LEGO Slippers!!!

The worst pain in the world has to be standing on LEGO… we’ve all done it and you certainly don’t forget the pain in a hurry. To avoid you spilling out a stream of curse words after getting one of these bricks wedged on the bottom of your foot, the company has teamed up with its French advertising company to create protective slippers just in time for the holidays.

The agency Brand Station revealed the LEGO slippers last week on Facebook, along with a video of how they are made. The red and yellow LEGO slippers look like any other soft house shoes, but have thick padding on the bottom so walking over a field of the pokey plastic bricks will leave you pain-free.

The slippers are interchangeable between feet and are open in the back to immediately put on, so you don’t have to worry about having a mishap in the dark.

Only 1,500 pairs of slippers were produced, according to French blog Piwee, and they’ll be given away at random to people who fill out a Christmas wish list on the LEGO France website. That means the world at large doesn’t have much chance of actually owning these slippers, but they might inspire some makers to create their own LEGO-defense footwear.
