CMF Postcard Diorama Contest

With over 10 series since 2010 the LEGO Collectable Minifigures have have been a busy bunch, so as they make way for the new crew of Series 11, they’re heading off on their holidays. To celebrate the upcoming release of Series 11 we’ve teamed up with our friends at The Minifigures Store to offer you a chance to win a full set of Series 11 CMF Minifigures, plus runners up prizes.

All you need to do is create a diorama that captures any of the Minifigures from Series 1-10 (plus the Team GB Olympic ones), enjoying their time off on their holidays. Maybe they have gone back home, having a chill on the beach or visiting a famous monument. Let your creative juices flow and build an 8×16 postcard scene, then upload your creation to our special contest Flickr group. You have until September 1st to get your Collectible Minifigures Postcard Diorama complete. Full rules can be found below.

You can ask questions regarding the contest here or over on the Flickr Group.

Can’t wait to see some entries :)

When the rules say figures must not be modified does that mean that characters in costumes must keep their hats on?
I guess it does, but if a costume character is on holiday I would really want to have them holding their hat with hair added as they’re off duty and relaxing! It is a modification, but it’s what the holiday theme would suggest so I thought it was worth asking.

    • Richard

Hi You can take their hats/helmets off, what we mean is swapping legs, faces etc.
End of the day we need to be able to identify which CMF you have used.

      • alancartwright

        Great, thanks.
I’ve put a white wall around two sides of the diorama as well. They are to show that nothing is overhanging as a couple of elements look like they might be and aren’t part of the diorama. Is that okay too, or could one entry be multiple photos to show the size?

        • Richard

That is fine you can only submit one photo to the group though as that is how we set it up so make sure its a good shot and if you state in description the above it will be fine pal

          • alancartwright
