Here are the top 7 sets the LEGO Group thinks you’ll want this Christmas
Every year, the LEGO Group throws out its predictions for what could be the hottest sets at Christmas, giving parents time to buy early before stock runs out. Of course, the cynical onlooker might think it’s simply a means of driving interest on under-performing sets, but looking at this year’s list from Toy News, that’s probably not the case.
Among the hallowed seven are 41130 Friends Amusement Park Roller Coaster (£89.99), 70323 NEXO KNIGHTS Jestro’s Volcano Lair (£99.99) and 60124 CITY Volcano Exploration Base (£79.99), each commanding a lofty price tag. Also on the pricier end of things are 70595 Ninjago Ultra Stealth Raider (£79.99) and 75149 Star Wars Resistance X-wing Fighter (£79.99).
Those looking for a cheaper gift option from the list have only 10815 Duplo My First Rocket (£8.99) and 76059 Spider-Man: Doc Ock’s Tentacle Trap (£44.99) to choose from. The latter of those is probably the only one that could be properly accused of rounding out the numbers, considering 76058 Spider-Man: Ghost Rider Team-Up and 76057 Spider-Man: Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge Battle are likely to prove more popular.
What do you think of the LEGO Group’s selection? Are you hoping to find any of these sets under the tree this year?

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
