LEGO Mixels revealed at SDCC

mixels

Twitter user hiway7 has uploaded a photo of a the new LEGO Mixels, these will be released in 2014. A search on Google revealed nothing except that LEGO, the LEGO logo, and MIXELS are trademarks of the LEGO Group and it will be a new Cartoon shown on Cartoon Network in 2014.

You can tell by the boxes that LEGO have a strong presence in tn design of these new named cartoon figures, with each set including a particular character. Regular commenter on here Paperballpark has revealed that https://mixels.com/ has been registered by CSC (Corporation Service Company) which is a company which, amongst many many other things, registers domain names on behalf of large corporations.

Time Warner, as I’m sure most people will know, is an American film and TV company with subsidiaries including HBO, Warner Bros, CNN, DC Comics, Hanna-Barbera, and, oh look, Cartoon Network and as well as mixels.com, there’s also mixels.org, mixels.net, and for those who can’t spell, mixles.com too. Thanks to him for this snippet of info.

Besides this there is no other info to tell you right now, there is photo on instagram and a discussion over on the Brickset forum. Do you like these, what are your views and will it be the next Galidor?

Update the official site is up along with a nice CGI image as shown below. At moment it is a holding page.

The name is Richard Hayes and I’m a 32 year old from North Sheffield and founder of Brick Fanatics, I’ve been a LEGO fan since my youth but I did have a number of dark years but since coming out of my dark age I have become very active on the LEGO scene. I am also the LEGO Ambassador for the website. I am not your typical AFOL as I am picky about what sets I buy plus I prefer to build and design my own stuff. In past I have been a LUG Showcase coordinator and also one of the founders of the Brickshire LUG.
