New LEGO Batman Movie poster shared for SDCC
The LEGO Group has shared an exclusive new poster for The LEGO Batman Movie on Twitter, in honour of the currently ongoing San Diego Comic-Con.
The yellow one-sheet retains the aesthetic theme of its predecessors, with one notable difference: we finally get to see what the on-screen minifigure version of the Caped Crusader looks like under the mask, and it’s rather different to the Bruce Wayne that briefly popped up in The LEGO Movie.
The new hairstyle and thicker eyebrows certainly give off a crazier vibe, more in tune with Batman’s uber-exaggerated personality in the movie. Stay tuned for more LEGO Batman Movie news over the weekend, and don’t forget to check out the two tie-in LEGO sets unveiled yesterday, as well as our first look at Joker and Robin.
The LEGO Batman Movie is due out February 10, 2017, and stars Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Ralph Fiennes, Rosario Dawson, Zach Galifianakis and Mariah Carey.
Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
