Potential price increase for LEGO Collectible Minifigures

Brick Fanatics has received information indicating that LEGO Minifigures will see a price increase in the UK for 2017. The current price of £2.49 will apparently increase to £2.99 next year. When first released in 2010, Collectible Minifigures were priced at £1.99, which increased in 2014 to £2.49.

Collectible Minifigures have proved popular since being introduced in 2010, and in recent years have seen surges in popularity around licensed series such as The Simpsons and Disney. With over 350 minifigures released under the line, it is unlikely that a price increase will affect the popularity of this LEGO mainstay.

This has not been confirmed by the LEGO Group and should be treated as a rumour until officially announced.
