Welcome to the new site
Welcome to the new Brick Fanatics website. Firstly let me apologise for the downtime, thankfully we was only down for just over a day. This downtime allowed me set up the new website and make 90% of the site was ready for public viewing. There are still minor tweaks to be made, so please be patient while we continue to tweak the site over the new few days.
As you can see we have had a radical change, while it may take some getting used to the old theme/site was simply not reflecting us as a website. I have been working on a new site for several months and had wanted to keep the old content but with the use of several shortcodes, different image sizes etc this made it a massive job. With over 3,000 articles on the old site, going through each one and manually editing each one to work on the new site would have been a very labour intensive job and just don’t have the time or man power. So I made decision to make the old site a permanent archive. This is currently offline still as I have a few minor tweaks to make before it is ready for public viewing.
The new site, the first major change is comments. We have done away with a 3rd part commenting system, instead you can now register/login on the site and then you can comment on posts. This will also allow us to post content that only members of the site will be able to see. The rest of the changes are all visual, our reviews have under gone a massive change as the theme has a review system built in.
With it being a new site, we do have empty categories but that should be sorted within a week or so as we start adding new content on a daily basis. If you have any questions, feedback or notice any issues please comment below and will do my best to respond ASAP.
Once again thanks for sticking with us and hope you like the new look as much as I did building it.

Huge, huge improvement! Not that the old one was bad, but this is much nicer. Easy to navigate and the customisation is a nice touch. It will look stunning once you get the content going. I really like the new logo as well.

Thanks Minifigures, took longer then I would have liked but that was done to waiting 8 hours for hosts to get their act together. The home page is still building but requires content till it is full functioning. I atill have stuff to add and tweak. I reckon give it a week and it should be all systems go. 😎
