Movie-goers will be introduced to LEGO NINJAGO with short film
A LEGO NINJAGO short has been announced by Warner Animation to play before new animated movie Storks. The Master: A LEGO NINJAGO Short will debut on September 23, 2016 and will mark the first taste of what the cinematic world of NINJAGO will look like.
The Hollywood Reporter have a brief synopsis:
The Master: A Lego Ninjago Short is based on the Lego Ninjago series and features Master Wu, voiced by Jackie Chan, who gets into a conflict with Chicken, voiced by Abbi Jacobson. Justin Theroux narrates the story.
Although most of the focus so far has been on the caped crusader, the LEGO NINJAGO Movie is also due for release next year and this will be a way for Warner Bros to introduce the characters to new audiences. The movie will break away from the storyline established in the TV Series and has a star-studded cast. The LEGO NINJAGO Movie is due for release September 22, 2017.
